Whether you are an experienced speaker looking to gain input and learn new tips as you develop your speech ideas or are new, yet excited, to public speaking and hoping to learn how to give an inspiring oral presentation, this class is for you. Heather Neumann will bring students on a journey- exploring different types of speeches, delving into the process of effectively executing ideas. Students will write and deliver speeches. Class time will be teaching, as well as engaging discussions and presentations. Students will learn how to connect with and engage their audiences, even through an electronic screen, and finally create an environment in which students can grow and flourish in their public speaking skills. Students will have mini presentations throughout the class, and will write and perform a final speech. Not for beginner speakers or apprehensive speakers. Ages 13 and up. This class will meet over Zoom. One Semester Class, offered both semesters. Minimum 5 students.
